English
The English program helps students develop skills in thinking, reading, writing, speech, and listening. Individual courses stress analysis and understanding of language, literature, communication, and writing. In addition to required courses, students may take additional elective courses as described below. All Illinois supported colleges require four years of English. Consult your counselor for specific information.
