Agricultural Science

Opportunities for students to gain careers in agriculture are unlimited.  The Agricultural Technology Department prepares students for careers in all aspects of Agriculture. These include animal science, environmental science, production agriculture, horticulture, biotechnology, sales and service, research, communications, natural resource management, and conservation to name just a few.  Whether students are college bound or plan to join the workforce, Agriculture will prepare them for life after high school.

FFA is an important part of Agriculture Science and offers many opportunities for student involvement.  FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.  Students are encouraged, but not required, to join FFA.
